Exactly. It’s not a ganking problem. It’s an education/mindset problem that CCP can address through NPE and Career Agents far more effectively than just “banning ganking” ---

But how do you rebalance a “ship for life”? Belt rats cant kill mining ships in belts unless the pilot does something stupid. Therefore as long as the player stays in highsec that ship will never be destroyed. How do you balance that? ---

As for freighters, so what. The game could host bigger battles if there was less stuff destroyed in high sec. Isnt that what CCP want? ---

I mean the persons dying to ganks are noobs mostly, the bigger players dont die to ganks, or at least not often. So i dont really see a big change there either, at least with mining barges. Freighters are another story ---
