Last i checked it wasnt a pure pvp game. It is open world you got that correct. ---

It ruins everyones fun on these forums apparently. They complain more about not being able to gank new players and carebears more than we complain about them. Their first instinct is to insult and berate anyone who speaks against them. Then they sit on the forums all day being forum warriors when they dont get to be toxic in game. ---

Ganking is part of the game. Ships are like wrenches. A tool to be used, and if it snaps in your hand you dont spend any time getting annoyed with the time you spent at your job earning the cost of that wrench, you just go get another one. ---

If _my_ wrench breaks, I will send out my warranty claim, and will then spend 12-16 hours every day to rattle off dozens of threatening letters to the manufacturer, make dozens of phone calls to the company and the store that sold it to me, instantly file BBB complaints against both, get in touch with lawyers to explore the possibility of lawsuits, wage an endless social media campaign by blasting their Twitters and Facebooks with negative feedback, and tell every single person I interact with throughout my day to not buy these wrenches from the company that made them, or patronize the store that sold them to me. How _dare_ they waste my precious time by selling me defective tools? ---
