# Steam launcher still not working

CCP and steam reworked how their account creation works. Now, creating an account through steam will tie it to the steam-account credentials. Anything you buy through steam for Eve will go to the account that is tied to your steam-account. If you do not have one, a new account will be created and tied to your steam account.
