Is it just me? I tried to warp to a venture with my scout, but couldn’t. Had to warp to something near him, passive target/ship scan. What’s a good fit to pop a 1 day old player venture with only 1 shd hardner 1 in 08 space? ---

Ya know…one of these days I’d love to just take my 2000 DPS Raven and blap a Venture. To hell with the ISK. It would just totally defy that smug complacency of ’ nobody’s gonna blap ME using a 400m ISK ship '. And I hate the entire notion that everything in Eve has to be about ISK ‘reward’. Doing something totally crazy and unexpected is reward in itself. ---

Not having flown omega for a yr, but taking the free 7 has only proven how nerfed the game has become to me. ---

Thrasher, 200mm autocannons, 2 scrams, 1 mwd, 2x t1 gyro and dmg rig super cheap, can be built by yourself en mass and allows a -10 to kill Venture solo without warp in, simply d-scan which belt is he at, warp there, activate mwd, approach venture, deactivate it (they are usually 15km from beacon for which 1 round is enough), then wait a bit for your ship speed stabilizes and you are at optimal, activate both scrams, oveheat guns (actually do that mid warp) and start shooting. You should be able to get a pod too, works above 0.8 if they have no tank or its pulled too. ---

I will give CCP this, the fitting window took me a few min to get used to but I like it much better! 😃 Why can’t they apply such thinking to other parts of the game? ---

Hmmm, maybe I need to have my eyes checked, looks like it has a scram and a web on it. Shouldn’t there be 2x scrams on it due to Ventures having a 2+ bonus to ship warp core strength?
