# Stop the Ice Hog Accounts in High Sec PLZ

I’ve returned to the game after almost 7 years.. it’s amazing how some things don’t change. AFK miners are a fact. What I don’t understand with a game this vast with so many different aspects is why these same complaints keep coming. If you want ice, it’s there. I’ve passed through belts that are mined out but I always seem to find what I need - and I do not stray below 0.5.

How do you exactly determine if a player is AFK or not? Do you illegally hack into their camera?

At the moment High-sec ice is basically the same price as Low-sec ice. Hardly any ice is mined in Low-sec as can be seen in the MER.

Would it help to change that – nerf the High-sec fields and buff the Low-sec fields?

I do a bit of Low-sec ice mining because where I am based it is more convenient to get to low-sec fields that I know are always there than High-sec fields that are usually mined out. Maybe more would do it if it paid more than High-sec Ice mining though.
