Every single crimson gauntlet within 20 jumps of Amarr system was being done by someone else, so I changed and went for the hollow 2 ones, same issue. Fenris usually take good decisions when it comes to gameplay and player experience, but here, they literally split the sites you can use into 2 branches, leaving one of them totally useless for you, which means more competition in the event sites that spam everywhere all the time, yes, but they are also constantly farmed by everyone all the time, to the point they are totally saturated. And on the wake of doing this, by forcing you to pick a faction, like every crimson harvest event, they literally ask you which rewards you want to give up, not which rewards you want to get. Totally arbitrarily and without any reason but to piss off players, since the factions you get to choose are only event ones. There was an age when you had to wake yourself up at 2AM to refresh your skills, complete and reassign manufacture slots, etc. You would think that 15 years later this was fixed by simple reasoning by the devs, but no, they literally made a whole 30 days event which you can only farm in peace at 2AM in most time-zones. The chances you will be able to find a whole site for yourself from beginning to end is below 10%, no I’m not joking… And don’t even get me started with the last-minute desperate people who gladly pop into the site you got first and try to steal all they can from you. In high sec this isn’t a compete for loot, this is rewarding being an a\*\*hole. Yo FC, rename “Crimson Harvest” to “D\*ckheads, seagulls and trolls haven” and mark it in the calendar as “the month when your rewarded for being a douchbag.”. ---

I don’t know about “event sites” being unoccupied. However I mine in unoccupied low sec all the time. I look for the system with one entrance. This means no traffic is just driving by. If someone shows in local chat, you know they are there for a purpose. If I am close enough, I use the D scan on the gate to see what ship they are using. This is a good indicator to their presence in the area. Maybe you can find your event site. If I were participating in any event, I would want to do the event with other players. The whole idea of any event is to play together. Have fun! ---

i just consider them to be rats now, i deleted all my drops from the event, now i just blow up wrcks and cans. it’s more fun than regular eve play. ---
