Im still new to eve sort of and im trying to have a somewhat cheap fit for my stratios. Heres what I have on it so far, any suggestions are welcome. Thank you. This fit is made for combat exploration sites in WH space Class 1 and 2 [Stratios, Stratios] Damage Control II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Capacitor Flux Coil I Medium Shield Booster II Adaptive Invulnerability Field I ‘Copasetic’ Particle Field Acceleration 10MN Afterburner II Large Shield Extender I Drone Link Augmentor I Focused Medium Beam Laser I Focused Medium Beam Laser I Prototype Cloaking Device I Sisters Core Probe Launcher Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer II Hobgoblin I x2 Hammerhead I x4 Sisters Core Scanner Probe x8 Republic Fleet Phased Plasma M x6000 ---

I don’t know much about WH ratting, but at least go faction drones. And meta any T1 mods. ---

So a couple of things, the first being I wouldn’t attempt flying the stratios in WH space until you’re able to use the covert ops cloak (T2), as being able to warp cloaked (to check sites/WHs/etc) is a massive advantage in WHs. The second is I’m not sure I’d bother with the Drone link augmentor, it does give you an 80km range for your drones, but the stratios (max skills) can only lock out to ~68km, without the mod your drone range drops to 60km (max skills)… though I do realise you’re probably not at max range for drone skills yet. I’d be inclined to drop the Shield Extender for a Cap Battery to ensure you’re able to constantly run the shield booster. The role bonus for the stratios for lasers is for range, which isn’t that great, the two notable bonuses (amarr & galente cruiser) are for armor res and drone dmg. Thank you very much I felt that the fit I had didnt feel right to run in WH with. What weapons do you think would be a better fit? ---

Well if you’re going to put guns on it, lasers (cause bonus) or projectiles (no cap usage) would be decent choices… the issue with lasers and an active tank is puts additional strain on your capacitor, and in a WH there’s a very good chance you will (at some point) be engaged by other players, less cap = less tank = dead faster. The ‘issue’ with guns is you’re using all your damage mods for Drones (due to the ship bonuses) so they really are a secondary weapon on the stratios (which is usually what Drones end up being on most non-drone ships).
