You may need to refind that link. It’s all being moved to archives. Anyways, no one ever said ganking was designed to be unprofitable. Not designed to be profitable =/= designed to be unprofitable. The truth is, ganking is just meant to happen (if it wasn’t it would be gone by now). Profitability or unprofitability is decided by the players. Not ccp. They do tweak things now and then. Freighter ehp buff and the wreck hp buff. And it’s an ongoing process. But you think ccp have a goal for ganking that they just don’t. They’re just ‘tweaking knobs here and there’, as the popular phrase goes, to keep things healthy/interesting/balanced.
