# Tell me why setting "set destination" is not automatically end-of-route

Anyways, after wacking myself on the head a few times with a wooden club, handmade using just a knife, the neural interface was reprogrammed to automatically translate “set destination” as “clear all waypoints if any and set a new one”. Works out reasonably well. Just no longer see that meaningless word destination in the UI.

I can understand why you are frustrated, talking to Eve players on this matter will only make it worse.

Set destination has always been broken, destination is just another waypoint that will be jumbled upon optimisation of route.

Don’t hold your breathe for a fix as this has been broken for 15 years or when ever route planner came out.

Not looking for a fix.  
Just trying to broaden my mind on topics that have puzzled me for awhile.

TiberianSun gave the correct answer right off the bat but it took the context of the rest of the replies in the discussion for me to understand why.
