Hm. Hard to believe that it should be able to compete with any turretship. I mean, a Confessor or Cynabal probably clears 3-4 opponents before the first drone has even reached its target. And there is no single mission in there where more DPS than a destroyer provides is needed to clear it fasterā€¦ ---

Just come back from an SoE Arc run with my trading char (basically no combat skills). Used a Coercer Navy Issue on Mastery I (šŸ¤£), Meta4 fit, no Implants/Drugs whatsoever. Time to completion: 2h 28min 22sec. Not much room for improvement, DPS never was an issue, Tank is absolutely unnessessary. The only thing that really matters is Travel Time. I can imagine the Cynabal above, a Warp-Speed rigged Confessor/Hecate/Retribution, a BeamLaser-Crusader or a Rail-Ares or a BeamLaser Pacifier could pull it off in like 2 hours. I would bet my ass no Gila can do it in less than 2h 30h. The Traveltime and the delayed drone damage to all those small targets at 50km will break itā€™s neck 100%. ---

They do. But exept for the Proteus, they are still to slow compared to other, much cheaper alternatives. ---

Iā€™m just going to throw this into the mix hereā€¦ The Level 1 SoE Epic Arc (and all the other arcs) have a couple of different branching points with different paths to complete the arcs. Some of those paths take longer to run, either more warps to get to the location or more objectives to complete. So yeah, time for completing the arc also depends on which path is chosenā€¦ EDIT: Also some of those missions can be blitzed which greatly reduces the amount of time spent to complete the arcsā€¦ So by running the shortest pathway through the arc, blitzing missions, max skills, implants, boosters, modules, etc, whateverā€¦ then yeah, the Level 1 SoE Epic Arc can be completed around 2 hrsā€¦ or soā€¦ ---

Yeah not optimal, but I was able to clear it with under 10 mil sp entirely in a 50 mil punisher. ---
