Oh I agree and my point wasn’t to equate the two entities or their influence on HS. There are only a few names that are known by most players in EVE and James 315 is one of them. My point was strictly that if you put-up CODE’s goal and AG’s goal, then look at their respective outcomes, both are failures to be honest. If CODE was a success, they would have put themselves out of business a long time ago but the opposite is true with more kills by agents being registered now than at anytime before. AG’s goal to stop gankers is, well, anemic to say the least; also a failure. When looked at objectively, destroying ships is the means to an ends that neither side has come close to achieving. ---

It’s a video game, new players will come and go. There isnt a guide for CODE. as soon as you start the game and you can never make the entire populace always obey the law. The lesson is, you can’t gank easily in popular areas with only 2 chars/people. 😉 A lot of aspiring gankers give up after their first hauler loss. Some move elsewhere in the pipe, some just log/dock when I’m entering local nowadays. Some get a loot bunny or join a bigger group. But indeed the lesson is counter-productive as it reduces the number of targets for killing haulers, stealing their loot. Every hauler ganker giving up on that is a loss. But people are always told ganking is too easy and doesn’t need a brain. 😉 ---

At least one ganker insulted me in local, that I‘m a filthy AG because he can’t gank while I‘m sitting on the gate as he is too afraid of losing the loot. So it looks like I help the AG course even without stopping ganks. 😛 So fun comes from low effort (stalking gankers can be done semi-AFK), and nice rewards (salt, kills, loot, chats in Russian with google translate, forum posts, …) ---
