CCP seems to try very hard to “control” EvE Online. Doing so they smother player’s interest in what would be a mechanical process. ---

I don’t know what kind of reception they expected to this. Maybe they just didn’t care. EDIT: Lemme guess. Waiting for the dust to settle, locking the critical threads. I remember when they screwed up local in null or something. They backed down from that one. It seems people were actually playing in null with all that PvP stuff they’re so very fond of. ---

I seem to recall playing 06-10 that even in highsec a large amount of players were always looking to join PVP corps even highsec ones like Privateers, The orphanage etc. The less social types were still even more apt to be out can flipping miners or starting fights somewhere. Granted Motsu had a lock on the percentage of folks grinding and it was a feeding pool for suddenly ninjas and the highsec wardec folks. Heck it took 50mil and your own corp to start wardeccing anyone and getting targets. The NPC corps were where you found the true bears. I can only assume constant capitulation to whiners by CCP is why we have what we have now and they have to beat the bears down with a stick. I would love to see the old highsec can flipping mechanics and ease of wardecs and no shields again. ---

Carebears are people too. It’s like they only ever care about PvP. Up to recently they were tolerated for making stuff. Then there was an industry nerf recently. Something about Battleship components? I don’t think there ever was a problem. Until they nerfed it into one. Whatevr ---

How is the economy supposed to absorb your economic output without collapsing? Or are you fine with your output getting continuously devalued until it’s not worth anything at all, like gold in a Diablo game? Maybe you guys think that it’s the PvPers’ job to blow each other up repeatedly, while you continue to produce uninhibited? But it doesn’t work that way. It _can’t_. ---

I liked how smooth you put it. I normally put it like ‘brute force’ regarding the Triglavian stupidity. On point, I still dunno why they needed to nerf nullification and one of the most crappy and single purpose module of the game (WCS). I mean let’s get real, if you can’t stop an afk bot using WCS, just uninstall bro, it’s not like they forbid you from bringing alts! (the irony is intended). Anyway, I really liked your vision about “control”, it’s a broader vision of my anger about triglavians terraforming the space. Fly safe o7 ---

I think winning at EvE is, skill inversely proportional to time invested. Serioulsy Assuming the PvP crowd doesn’t care while the industry crowd gets pummeled. Someone is going to play less. Industry would slow down and i think no one would win out of that. How to make a game bad. ---

This is a self entitled wrong assumption. Like all the other sandboxes that failed miserably, thinking PvP is the main focus is a wrong assumption made by people that only look at their own bellies. Removing PvE from EVE would be a nice comic failure and I guarantee I’ll be here laughing of the elite pvpers QQing how the game died. There’s a HUGE misconception people that PvP do not do PvE, that’s why they label others ‘carebear’ they need to hide their own shame. I know, I know, humans… Even if you argue you only loot your victims, without victims you not going anywhere. There’s a very small % willing to put their money every month and in PLEX. Don’t shot yourself in the foot my man. That common place ‘CAREBEAR’ is getting old, everybody with zero knowledge about how game works go there to look tough, but in essence they only talking garbage.
