I think some miners regard EVE as solely a ‘chill out’ mining simulator that’s somehow mistakenly got invaded by this awful PvP stuff that shouldn’t be spoiling their chill out. It just never occurs to them that ship destruction is the entire _basis_ of the EVE economy…without which mining would be pointless. All those ships being blown up is not a mistake, it quite literally **is** EVE Online. It is the very engine that drives the economy. ---

Pvp nver was anything more but a 25% minority, not really important, just pampered and boosted by silly Devs that are no longer responsible for this game for good reasons, i say this long enough for even you to get it. You should follow your own advice, hisec is never going to be the PvP free PvE wonderland you wish for - because if it ever came to pass, it would kill the biggest part of the game’s economy (which is very much a PvP environment) - if you want to see what a PvP free highsec would look like, look no further than the test server. ---

IF something is foolish here than it’s you and your buddies still spitting out lines like that…you are not even impressive by number, just by your stubborness… You should have understood by now that my statement of facts is nothing you can scare away or devalue by your stupid propaganda…it is here to stay… Just accept the fact that ‘your’ game will come to an end and that the WAST minority of the server has not the slightest problem with that…there WAS no ragequit about exordium and there WILL be none if it is widened out to all of high… Have a happy ragequit… Edit: btw is it the smiley game now to devalue posts? Video game players in EVE can be deeply contradictory: they demand fairness, but often only when it benefits them. They complain about overpowered weapons, cheap tactics, or pay-to-win systems, yet many happily use the strongest loadouts, exploit glitches, or follow the current design if it improves their own chances. The standard is often less “What is fair?” and more “What is fair to me?” They also criticize FC monetization, unfinished releases, and constant seasonal content, while continuing to buy the same products. Players rant and rage about loot, dailies, or buggy launches, then pre-order the next year of omega or spend extra on PLEX. That gap between public outrage and private spending keeps the cycle going. There’s also hypocrisy in online communities. Players may insist they care about skill, sportsmanship, and “real PVP,” but can be quick to insult newcomers, alphas, miners, or worship streamers who play the exact way they condemn to others. In the end, a lot of gaming hypocrisy comes from the same place as in any hobby: people want rules, recognition, and freedom for themselves, but not always for everyone else.
