It’s one of those things that look desirable because they exist, not because their opposite is wrong. “Look! Thin bezels! They look cool!” “Huh, what are they good for? A smartphone is a handheld device, thin bezels make it harder to hold because there’s less contact surface” “OK smartass, you got us. But 99% of our target are stupider than you, so beat it” ---

This is clearly why people thought that sun is rotating around earth, so much sun in the sky, and horizon not moving from observer point of view. With heliocentric it had to be some sort of mental decentralization from influence of sun and observer, bringing it outside, bringing order in more reasonable categories. ---

I imagine people constantly had urge to call her Lady Lamar Instead of Hedy Lamar. Timezone everyone 😘 Today I had such a beautiful dream, flying high, watching giant green trees from above. Such a nice feeling to see them with all the leaves and volume, I think this was the biggest tree I have seen in my life. A significant, important tree. ---
