Good monring LAGLers! Dunno why, today YT has recommended me a clip from the 1984 film “Threads” by BBC. Positively scary sh\*t and the godfather of realistic approach to nuclear armageddon. I have memories of having watched “The day after”, which was a pretty disturbing thing to watch as a teen, but “Threads” is just so much worse than it. It still bring effin’ tears to my eyes and makes want to roll under the blankets and beg for being at ground zero if it ever happened. Not cool YT, WTF did you recommend that to me? It’s sunday morning and the only nuclear fussion event going on it’s 150 million kilometers away… ---

Timezone everyone 😘 > **[Russian blended wing aircraft concept keeps on the down low](https://newatlas.com/tsagi-blended-wing-heavy-transport-ground-effect-aircraft/47692/)** > > Russia's TsAGI is developing a new blended-wing heavy transport aircraft that is designed to carry up to 500 tonnes (492 tons) of cargo, yet only reaches an altitude of between three and 12 m (10 and 40 ft) over water and land. That is some fat winged plane. ---

Looks like another twist on the ekranoplane, with exactly the same drawbacks: unusable in anything but flat , empty land and difficult to maneuver. Won’t make it past silly prototype phase. ---

And another one Random fact: since bones don’t have any relation to it, there is no way to know the size of a woman’s bosom based on her skeletal remnants… but in the future, archaeologists will have a lot of fun with silicone implants from our age. 🤣 ---
