Time to go to sleep… nighties lovelies! Also: it’s back, mostly. Work on it will continue. > **[NASA’s Voyager 1 Resumes Sending Engineering Updates to Earth](https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-voyager-1-resumes-sending-engineering-updates-to-earth)** > > After some inventive sleuthing, the mission team can — for the first time in five months — check the health and status of the most distant human-made object in existence. NASA engineers are tinkering with decades old hardware, with no copy or model on Earth, sending signals 44+ hours away (22 hours per trip and back), with little people who still know how does that hardware work or is programmed, and constrained to using small pieces of the whole memory since it’s damaged. And they do it nonetheless since each second spent outside there is a second stepping further into the unknown. Now that the flight system is back to functioning, they’ll work on getting the scientific data. ---

Some of the things in this video are harsh: > **Harsh truth video** > > [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwmVAWXQyY4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwmVAWXQyY4) I knew many of these, I got most of their context from Jack Canfield’s “Success Principles” book. But among them there are still…well…it’d be a euphemism to label them as “eye openers”. The reason for that is that they are really, universally true. At least they are the ones, those 40 principles, needed to successfully function in a society. ---
