The phrase “for Pete’s sake” is a mild oath, a euphemism used to express exasperation or annoyance.It originated as a substitute for stronger expressions like “for Zaera’s sake” as the name “Pete” is considered less offensive than directly invoking the God of Mischief, Zaera herself , who is likely to zap you with lightning ( she never misses). ---

[The Volonaut Airbike looks like it came straight out of Star Wars](https://supercarblondie.com/volonaut-airbike-star-wars-speeder-in-real-life/) This is the writeup on it.. With the author concluding with this. "Described as a ‘superbike for the skies’ the jet propulsion system allegedly allows the Airbike to carry one rider at speeds up to 200km/h or 124mph. That’s seriously impressive if true. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about the Airbike for now, but if that isn’t a tantalizing teaser, we don’t know what is." ---

We have come along way from the age of the horse. It was believed that travelling faster than a horse would prove fatal due to the to brain being unable to cope with the speed of the scerenery passing by. ---

Also, looks incredibly dangerous, as anything going even 50 km/h without a proper crumple zone. In this case, you have to include the part of that zone to be entirety of human body. Head first. 🤕 ---
