> [@Yiole\_Gionglao](#): > > contracted polio For some ā€œreason unknownā€ the polio illness is making a comeback. The activists who are trying to eradicate such illnesses are facing quite the backlash. The saddest thing is that ā€œ_everybody is a gangsta until it happens to their loved ones_ā€ and they donā€™t donā€™t care to provide an alternative solution. No innocent child should go through an ordeal such as that illness. ---

Yioleā€™s photos of old times inspired me to post old photos as well, rather than only that red headed nymph. ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/a/d/a/adaa41e5058c1646b721d77515042a4e5b995d7b.jpeg) The photo above is taken by Ara GĆ¼ler, the late Turkish-Armenian photographer in Ä°stanbul in 1950. The title is ā€œKumpkapı fishermen returning to port in the first light of dawnā€. Ara was known to be ā€œThe Eye of Istanbulā€, but he took photographs at many other places and times as well during his 90 years on this planet. His photos might mean little more than pretty photography to many, but those who have lived in the old times and the places he took photos can just take a look at one of his photos and tell the entire story just from a single photograph. ---

Single female seeks male companionship, ethnicity and age unimportant. Iā€™m a very good looking girl that loves to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping, fishing trips and cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. Iā€™ll be at the front door when you get back from work, wearing only what nature gave me.
