Well, I’m just glad you didn’t buy a boat. But if you have the time and inclination for the ocean, take a blissful and peaceful ride on a sailboat. You won’t get anywhere fast, but why spoil a good day of fishing by catching a fish. 😉 I took a “slightly” different path when I moved to FL. ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/b/5/9/b594ab8b1124d940b524ef0b21f1bedc5d3b027d.jpeg) Circa 1985 being restored. But I young when I did that kinda work. ---

Hmmm… apparently Bluesky has removed the possibility of reading messages without logging in. Google no longer finds any messages from that one guy I’m following without an account, and he’s still active since he’s posting to Mastodon and usually cross-posts on both platforms since he left Twitter. It’s a minor annoyance and I’m not breaking my stride of NOT having accounts on social media just because of Bluesky being a-holes. 🤷‍♀️ ---

Monkey see, monkey do. The man in the video below reminds me of Charles F. Haanel. [![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/a/2/4/a240fcc09443b6ebd77edd90b2f2a75eaf57b707.jpeg "Man Born in 1853 Talks About Childhood in the 1860s- Enhanced Video & Audio [60 fps]") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oqbLSisnME) [![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/9/0/9/909797ff7782d195f7eadb5eba785d659673eeb9.jpeg "How do fish get into isolated mountain lakes?") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHTMZiXeB6A) I’ve seen instances of rare life in rare places. Did you know that world’s oldest known (legit) tree is a tree located at a mountainside where even goats can’t live? And when the pyramids in Ancient Egypt were beginning to be built it was still so old that it probably thought: “Those Egyptian hipsters and their new fangled Pyramids! Sheesh!” This is a very close location to where it thrives: ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/7/e/4/7e44091b34eb6a72e73600d76ff31748a00e4699.jpeg) Such old things, hard to grok by mankind who has a short life span remind me of a comic strip by Yiğit Özgür: ![IMG_0117](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/d/7/f/d7fda493b1f812527170dddb8b0cacdaf61e540b.jpeg) Trans. The man on the left says: “Oh older brother Suphi, I’m so ecstatic!! Scientists managed to collide two protons together at high speed at the Large Hadron Collider!!! Think about it!!!” The second frame says: “(He) Couldn’t think” I can barely remember 20 years ago, let alone 5.000 years! ---
