This photo was taken in 1946. The guy is Ken Shimizu. He is 35 years old with two children. Shimizu never runs, sleeps late, eats whatever he wants, even drink beer instead of water. He eats dinner with many kinds of food every night. ![388](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/3/8/7/387a2bf75412be9be70f0819f083855948da63f3.jpeg) What does Shimizu do to get such a body? Shimizu doesn’t have any secrets. Shimizu is the person sitting in the bottom left corner of the photo. As for the man standing in the middle, I’m not sure who that is… ---

Time to go sleep, more or less. Late enough to share some old pictures. Night night lovelies! Also: another time, another place, another everything… ![New Orleans 1864](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/f/a/9/fa90fa0832f61f091cbc21535699c22d6b989c4a.jpeg) Photograph: emancipated slave children from New Orleans, 1864. The image accompanied an article at Harper’s Weekly, which read: _“Rosina Downs is not quite seven years old, she is a fair child, with blonde complexion and silky hair, her father is in the rebel army… Rebecca Huger is eleven years old, and was a slave in her father’s house, the special attendant of a girl a little older than herself… Augusta Boujey is nine years old, her mother, who is almost white, was owned by her half-brother, named Solamon, who still retains two of her children.”_ ---

Time to go to sleep… night night lovelies! The Maharaja Ram Singh II was a fan of photography sicne he first learned of it and had an extensive collection with many topics, from some of his subjects to himself posing in different self-portraits, and very specially portraits of women from the court; although no names were recorded, those images are carefully crafted to depict those women as noble beings in semi-western settings, against the colonial perception that women in the court where ignoble sex slaves. Frostpacker who was responsible for her sentencing and has since found religion, visits her and takes her golfing for a laugh. Frosty explains the basics then lets Zaera tee off. The ball flies across the fairway towards the green, but lands meters from the hole. “Oh God dammit, I missed.” Frosty scolds Zaera. “Zaera, you ought to be careful. You of all people should know that if you continue to blaspheme like that, surely the Lord will strike you down with lightning.” At the green, again she takes her shot, but the ball rolls past the hole, coming to a stop just a few inches away from it. “Oh God dammit, I missed again.” Again, Frosty warns her. “Zaera, watch your language. Take the Lord’s name in vain again, and surely He will strike you down with lightning.” Zaera takes her putter and puts the ball towards the hole, in what should be in incredibly easy shot. Unfortunately, the ball skims the side of the hole and overshoots, coming to rest just next to it. “Oh god dammit, how could I miss that!”, says Zaera. Suddenly, there’s a huge thunder crash and bright flash of lightning, and the Zaera finds herself standing all alone on the golf course. And then a voice booms from above… “Oh god dammit, I missed.” ---
