Actually think itโ€™s meant to work like this since apparently you can restore deleted posts under some circumstances. ---

but more importantly it means post count sniping can be gamed, like bumping the roullette table ---

Since the URL is the only static counter I think it should be the one that counts lest someone gets post nr 2001 and then goes and deletes a previous post to make himself 2000 ๐Ÿ˜› ---
