Hello capsuleers,

I’d like to introduce **The Norns** — a standalone, always-on-top telemetry HUD, DPS meter, and anomaly companion for EVE Online ratting fleets.

Drawn as a dedicated hardware terminal (Mordu’s Legion aesthetic with a recessed OLED display), it runs locally on your PC and is **strictly passive by design**.

### 🎯 Current Fleet Focus

The Norns 1.1.0 is specifically tailored for the popular **EDENCOM + Smartbombing Fleet Leader** ratting doctrine:

- **EDENCOM Gunboats:** (Skybreaker, Stormbringer, Thunderchild) delivering primary Vorton bounce DPS.
- **Fleet Leader Battleship:** (Nestor, Machariel, Praxis, etc.) running smartbombs to clear frigate waves and anchor the fleet.
- **Intelligent Friendly Fire Filter:** Vorton hits against your own fleet anchor are automatically filtered out, ensuring clean and accurate NPC DPS calculations.

### 🔥 Key Features

1. **Real-Time DPS Metrics:**

2. **Smartbomb Cycle Tracking:**

3. **Live ISK Heat Grid:**

4. **Automated Anomaly Counting:**

5. **Smart Grid Alerts:**

6. **NPC Faction & Damage Profile Breakdown:**

7. **Multi-Language Support:**

### 🛡 Safety & CCP Policy Compliance

The Norns is strictly read-only and designed to adhere to CCP’s third-party policies:

- Reads **only** local `Documents\EVE\logs\Gamelogs` and standard `EVE - <Character>` window titles.
- **NO** memory reading, **NO** packet interception, **NO** cache inspection.
- **NO** keystrokes, clicks, window switching, or input automation.
- **NO** screen capture / OCR.
- Completely local and offline (no cloud accounts or data telemetry).

### 🗺 Planned Features (Roadmap)

- **Competition Mode:** For multiple fleet packs operating in the same system (fast agile frigate anchor).
- **Classic Mode:** Dedicated tracking for pure smartbombing battleship fleets (Machariel, Praxis, Rokh without EDENCOM).
- **Chinese (中文) localization.**
- **Extended Faction Spawn Statistics & Anomaly Timers.**
- **Compact & “Potato” Rendering Modes.**
- **Customizable UI Themes.**
