I still think there is something to this guy. too many iffy kills, too many strange things about him. a couple of them i can understand. but there are just too many for one toon… ---

I wonder if he got 5.1 by generating a rounding error? Just gained and lost Sec status until that extra 0.1 got added by accident? That would be good for a laugh. Also I’m not sure if it’s material to the question, but certain special edition ships such as the Marshal, give you a bonus when you’re killing rats. Maybe CCP has a small bug in its calculation of that, which can sometimes get you the extra 0.1? ---

You go over 5.0 through officer npc kills. Overheating is more complex than most people think it is, a bump machariel can have many empty or offline modules which all affect overheat chance of its MWD and thus extends its heated use. That and lots of LSE. ---

Also gotta factor in implants and boosters the pilot might be taking. The Quafe booster, or if he’s got a full set of Snake implants. Plus there are navigation implants. ---

Lol, just found this thread. I’m always wondering why people still fall for all the highsec shenanigans, but here is proof again. Adrian is a suspect baiter and war deccer, he never suicide ganks, but is passionate about his play style. I killed his Nereus once (it’s easy if you know it’s weakness). Bait Nereus abyssal fit. Also Abyssal MWDs and drugs/imps are a thing, did you scan his Mach fit, instead of throwing around baseless assumptions? The bumping is to get the miners angry, and trick them into shooting first. Next, do you know wormholes? Another trivial explanation besides clones why people can seemingly be in two distant places in short time. Oh, and one more, the rook had no tank and ECM are useless in a 1:1 situation, because you can always lock and shoot the jammer. So you are right regular game mechanics allow to ignore jammers.
