IIRC he has a wife; the way that generally goes is what’s his is hers and what’s hers is her own. It was never his money. ---

@Jonah_Gravenstein How awful. I feel bad now. He can then keep the isk he doesn’t have. I won’t hold it over his head anymore. So it’s that how it works? His money is hers and her money is her own? What kind of marriage is that? When I get married, his stuff will be his and mine will be mine and we’ll have a common pot ( of gold, lol ) that we both can use for whatever. ---

My best pal and the most recent person in my life to get hit by this now owes 40% of his income to the ex-wife who abandoned him, kidnapped the child to another country, lost the child in an extradition battle, decided she doesn’t give a crap about either of them and cut off contact, but ultimately came back to get the cash after the local courts raised her to the level of sainthood despite her numerous crimes. Most guys I know who have marriage experience are either divorced, in the process of being divorced, or worst of all are being threatened with divorce unless they agree to her doing what she wants and sleeping with whomever she wants. Of course, we’ll never own our own places of living, vehicles, or take vacations, but we’re definitely able to treat ourselves to some PLEX every once in a while. ---
