Hi! We have a long dead & locked thread for cars, so I took the liberty to start a new one where we all car lovers talk about and share videos/images/articles etc. of cars. I’m not sure how they are going to charge all of these full electric cars they want everyone to drive. ---

My most satisfying experiences as a car owner/driver have been with hybrids. I’m not going to buy an EV and with the amount of control/ownership these companies are removing, it’s unlikely I’ll ever purchase a car manufactured after 2008. Time to learn the tuning hobby. ---

I like that the petrol engine in the Hybrid can easily do 300k miles or more with no real problem, the electrical engine seems to take a lot of stress off the petrol engine. For sure, I’m reading a lot of these new electric cars are difficult to fix so they end up being written off and the cost of a new battery can run into 10s of thousands. ---
