As to ganking itself, in the [Burn Jita thread](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/burn-jita/60736/17) there was a claim we see often, that gankers target new players, so yesterday I took a look at the average age of Freighter/Bowhead/Orca pilots th… The youngest character in the 6000 killmails looked at in that analysis was 23 hours old - injected directly into flying a freighter. Not likely a new player.
