More likely related to time coordinates. Similar to launch protocol, x event takes place in -y hours. Data points are used to indicate when an event took place in relation to the report.

Their relation to Time seem indeed a bit more “subjective” than our.

To be honest, I think we don’t have enough material yet to affirm that they use their time-related words as “conjugaisons” or coordinates.  
I personally think they have a relation to time that evolved to reflect their environment, in high gravity fields, time can become much more “flexible” and have some seriously disturbing properties.

I think that is the reason their relation to time is so specific.
