In Memoriam: Bernie Nator / ISD Dorrim Barstorlode
Legendary Capsuleer and Esteemed ISD

It was two years ago this May 9th that Bernie Nator was last seen in the EVE Universe. He passed away in the early hours of May 10, 2023 from a pulmonary embolism.

We mourn the passing of Bernie Nator, a legendary player in the _EVE Online_ universe who departed from our ranks in the prime of life. For over two decades, Bernie Nator was a steadfast presence in New Eden—known not only for his deep knowledge of the game but also for his warmth, wit, and unwavering dedication to the EVE community.

As a member of the Interstellar Services Department (ISD) for more than 10 years, Bernie gave selflessly of his time and energy to support, guide, and uplift both new and veteran players alike. Whether he was answering questions, moderating chaos, or lending his voice to community events, Bernie embodied the spirit of service and camaraderie that makes EVE more than just a game.

His name will echo in the halls of our stations and the voids between stars—a true capsuleer whose contributions will not be forgotten. Fly safe, Bernie. You are now part of the constellation that lights our way.

You are loved and are missed by many.
