The actual gameplay of EVE diverges from the background fiction in many significant ways, and CONCORD itself makes no sense from a background fiction point of view. ---

I understand that you live in a fantasy world where ganking is some kind of horrible crime against humanity and only sociopaths would do it, but in the real world it’s an entirely legal act within the rules of EVE and a popular gameplay feature in a PvP game. The only question here is why you insist on continuing to play a game that is so poorly suited to your needs. ---

HS ganking carries with it penalties, however not an exploit otherwise it would be a bannable offence (which it isn’t). IMO receiving a suspect timer (where everyone can shoot you), concord spawn and security status loss is a harsh enough penalty. In the sense of in game mechanics, yes ganking is ‘illegal’ and carries with it severe penalties. In the spirit of CCP RL rules however, ganking is not an ‘illegal’ act and carries no punishment. I think it’s important to make this distinction otherwise you’re being dishonest. ---

Also, you’re a shameless liar. The posts where this argument started make it very clear that Aiko and I are both talking about the rules of EVE as a game, not the background fiction about the opinions of CONCORD NPCs.
