# Unable to connect to TQ on port 26000 or others

Let me add my voice to the chorus: I got kicked from the server 20 minutes ago. Since then I have been unable to connect at all to the client or to EvE official websites.

My internet is working fine, as demonstrated by this post.

**Steps I’ve taken:**

- Reconnecting to the internet
- Restarting my computer
- Restarting my router
- Changing Port to 3724 in prefs.ini (and then back again when that didn’t work)
- IP renewed via ipconfig/renew
- **VPN: WORKS,** but extremely slowly, and not for more than a day

**EvE Network diagnostics:**  
**Basic:** 0% loss, Avg. 32ms ping  
**Traceroute:** Timed out on hops 11 and 13, average ~30ms for all others  
**Download:** 49.15mb down in 3.847 seconds
