The best thing that new players could do is **leave Excretium**. Take a gate, take a shipcaster - just do yourself a favor and GTFO. High-sec is reasonably safe - and at least you can earn a decent income there. ---

Arguably a hallmark of a good tutorial area is that players leave it quickly. It’s there to teach you the basics before sending you out into the real game. If that’s all it’s good for, it sounds like they hit the mark. ---

It also sounds to me that the area is working as intended.
