I get that, but what I am saying is: - 15k players are probably not enough to pay the bills - Your **individual** taste for challenge may not be shared by the **majority** of new players. The risk is to relegate EVE to “maintenance mode” in order to keep veterans while CCP devs would keep pushing on console-style First Person Shooter to attract new players and pay the bills (as they are doing in London). ---

I haven’t found any new player in the forums who has said something worthwhile enough to give isk to in almost a yr now. I stay out of rookie chat and got no bites on offering help in local in starter sys. ---

There are already other space sims out there where you can mine, build stations, fly PVE missions, all that stuff. Those games ALREADY exist. There are no other full loot pvp long term space games on the planet. This is it, the only one. So it is incredibly frustrating when people show up and say, “ I don’t want Eve to be Eve any more, I want it to be like the other games I could already be playing but aren’t for some unknown reason”. Then when eve changes to what you guys want, it’s gone, and there are no replacements. Meanwhile, the miners just get bored and wander away and play Elite Dangerous for awhile and then that’s it. You don’t go to Tetris and tell the developers it needs fewer blocks and more Paladins. You go for Tetris. Enjoy the beauty and ferocity and danger of eve, or play something you like more. ---

We had a lot of ex military and knew each other for yrs before joining the game. No action was like the forums, just a pig pile on each other, just bs’ing. Combat was a whole different thing. Target spotted was an instant quiet channel. The info feed was real time, no clutter. With 30 sec of info, we were gearing up. Change fits/whatever. FC gave the orders, few spoke only to inform they were too far out, etc. I hate ppl in general also, but we had a good corp. Shame you could not find one as well. ---

Stopping pvp and competition for control is an exact reason the game is trash. Multiboxers and pew pew structures with structure timers instead of people fighting people in their own ships are also huge. ---

There are a lot of Greek letters between α and ω. How about μ accounts, Only able to fly sub capitals for $15/month. I have no desire to fly those big, expensive targets. ---

85% of the playerbase would choose that option then ccp will raise u accounts to 19.99 in a year and omega capital accounts to 25 xD lol not worth it. ---

It would be “interesting” if CCP kept omega clones, but then introduced two new discount clone classes: one that skill trained like Omega, but was locked out of using the (non-alpha) skills and one that didn’t skill train at all but had full use of their existing skills. ---
