The epic sight of all the ships dashing to the gate after landing at 15km The surprise on my face after the too good to be true contract got swapped right before my accept click landed Begging passers-by in local in a wormhole for days after being stranded having forgot my probes again Those little moments of joy finally opening the right neocom window (oh wait this one is still there) ---

It had a TV which was able to play video clips from local folder on PC. I used to put some _explicit_ videos on it and enjoyed the show while ship spinning. 🤭 ---

And the reason wasn’t even altruism, it was that people were buying containers with thousands of gate bookmarks, or making their own, and it was killing the servers. I miss the old forums, forum signatures, the beef between RP corporations, CCP participating occasionally, generally way more activity. ---
