# What kind of day is this?

I have a heron with a scan str of 86 points. All my scanning skills are lvl IV. Almost everyday when I log in I go and scan a few sites - mostly data and relic but today was a day of some serious BS.

I could scan anything above 30% - is it the new update? I did everything I used to do before when I succeeded and got nothing. One scan was a lvl IV Data site so I figure I just wasn’t good enough for that.

What is up? Very frustrated

Some level 4 and 5 sites need a better ship bonus or skills to scan down. Until you can use a T2 exploration ship, you can use Sister’s probe launcher and probes for a stronger scan strength (be sure to use core unless you are scanning down ships). There are also low slots and rigs that can increase your the various stats.
