I have met with the former slaves that my family once held. I took a swim for the first time in years. It had been too long. I love to swim, so I am not quite sure why I have not done so for so long. But I found a pool that is quite nice. I think I will be visiting it quite often in the future. ---

According to my Thesaurus, synonyms for verdant include green, leafy, grassy, grass-covered, lush, rich, flourishing, thriving & teeming. I think we can safely ignore all the green, nature-y grassy ones, lovely. I mean, when did you last see a lawn grow on a ORE researcher? ---
