Given that no other mmo has any long lasting appeal to me and most not even just a short term one, I’d say that EVE is pretty special and well worth the money, whether they want 15, 20 or 25 euro doesn’t really change anything in that regard. Partly because I play to have fun and am not interested in any kind of isk vs cash comparison and also because I’m not one of those “must have 17 accounts otherwise I’d lose like 0.07% optimisation and even worse I might have to _gasp_ interact/trade/teamwork with others”. ---

That’s so … capitalistic. Not everything in life should be viewed through revenue and profit. Besides, my story is a confirmation that I haven’t lost - but gained. I was a CEO of a corp a looong time (12+ years) ago while I was still freshly unemployed after the college. The first job I got was when EVE coprmate asked if there’s someone willing to learn to code for one popular e-commerce platform. He had connections to a company which provided us projects. That job lasted for a couple of years after which I’ve went on my own freelancing for a while and then joined an excellent RL company thanks to a recommendation from another EVE corpmate. The third ex-corpmate is now my best friend even though he stopped playing years ago. So, EVE brought me 2 jobs and a best friend for life. ---

My opinion is that the cost of 3 accounts should be equal to the price of a new-ish game big title game So like £45 a month. Why? 3 accounts are the amount I feel are needed to enjoy the game as an 18-year vet. ---

I used to think $15 a month was fine as it was always fun and had great times, however after all the crap theyve done to destroy the game the last several years I would think $10 a month is more than enough. I have 10 accounts, currently only have 6 subbed at the moment, I am waiting to see what comes from fanfest before I make a decision on what to do. Industry/Mining is what Im into and for the most part they have made it a real pain in the ass to do and quite frankly not being able to get everything in Nullsec like we used to is just stupid. ---

All eve has to change so that everyone will be fine with $20 a month is increase character limit per account to 4 and allow 2 active char log on’s per omega account. This will in turn allow the single box’ers to get a taste for dual boxing and will encourage a multiple character training so CCP can get that extra income if they need but the players can do with 1 training char and 1 active but not training char for a more reasonable price if that is what they want. This will also allow solo players to have a cyno alt without having to pay for a whole seperate account every month which feels like a waste. ---

The price I’m inclined to pay. It goes like this, you either pay or you don’t. Discussing it in a thread changes nothing. It amazes me people think this forum puts any pressure on CCP, CCP is more worried with Reddit than this. Some people will pay, some will PLEX, others will alpha and the last pack will leave. SIMPLE LIKE THAT. You guys don’t need to discuss any single idiotic thing. ---

You will be surprised but CCP have taken a lot of idea’s from these forms and have implemented it already so your comment is already inaccurate. Interceptor’s having a double speed prob mod overheat was asked for on these forums, black out (no local) was asked for here (a lot) so was warp stabs in faction warfare complex’s and a lot more and CCP listened and implemented a ton of stuff. ---

It can be found in business journals that 2% to 4% price increase would increase profit by 20% no matter what business. The way I see the prices presented to us it feels closer to a 6% price increase. I am not too concerned as my calculations include entertainment value. ---
