Lacing cord is an alternative way of using strip ties. The benefits of lacing cord is primarily the fact that it does not add any obstacles to the cable length, but it also creates less friction on the cable harness. ---

Did you know, America’s first steam locomotive lost a race to a horse? On August 28, 1830, Peter Cooper and his Tom Thumb engine was challenged to a race. Tom Thumb was easily able to pull away from the horse until the belt slipped off the blower pulley. Without the blower, the boiler did not draw adequately and the locomotive lost power, allowing the horse to pass and win the race. ---

A neutron star’s density is mind-boggling. These stars are composed almost entirely of neutrons packed together in a tiny radius. Just a teaspoonful of this material would weigh over a trillion kilograms — more than the weight of the entire human population (which reaches a few hundred billion kilograms). To make something as dense as a neutron star, the whole of humanity would need to be crammed into a space the size of a sugar cube. ---
