# Why are people from my block list allowed to privately convo me?

Alliance X on block list → members of that alliance can convo me. Why is this possible?

If you have the alliance as contact as well, maybe that overwrites the block.

oh yes that might be true. I have it in contacts for negative standing. Weird thing is they can convo me but I can’t read what they write, due to the block XD

Sounds like block-list and contacts are two separate systems.  
That’s an interesting quirk.
