# Why are the forums so dead?

I often post comments and make threads that don’t support but in fact criticize the FCCP position.

In fact I think FCCPs position on the [new asteroid names](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/ccp-sucks-all-flavour-out-of-mining-with-veldspar-ii-grade/500455) is awful, and I’m [still waiting for FCCP to fix the character window portraits](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/claustrophobia-new-character-window-feedback/509331) which have been broken for ages now.

Yet unlike your other character @denyial I don’t have a forum mute.

Could it be that it’s not the ‘FCCP position’ you need to follow, but the **forum rules?**
