and right before taking a gate you can also look the holograms around the gate and they will give an idea if there’s destruction in the next system ---

I can make a sandwich, it goes like this, ok one toasty bread, slice of this or that, another slice of something, extra slice maybe, tomato, lettuce, bacon, some goop, and then another toasty bread with a pickle! ---

No, it is their own choice to engage with a player in pvp, knowing full well these functionalities exist and that their actions will not result into functional pvp gameplay. This simple but fundamental difference in perception explains our difference in opinion: you blame existing foundations, I judge what players decide to do with it. I’m not saying their choices are invalid however; just that their avenue of gameplay doesn’t interest me. I hunt ratters for my power trip: that doesn’t make me any better morally, it just means I’m more interested in prolonged engagements that are not interrupted by mechanics als old as the inception of the game itself. I do not mind that the game allowes me to enact sweet vengeance upon a player that has inconvenienced me, even in hisec. I still believe the ganking mechanics to be integral to the game, I just regard players that engage with it constantly to be interested in wholly different aspects of the game then I am. ---

**This is true, the ganker will feel better about herself/himself, but it is because it is very challenging and achieving the goal is rewarding.** Basically, ganking is a smash the window and grab what you can, rather have the innocent old woman collect your stuff after you have been nuked. After all the nice little old lady would never steal. ---

lets face it gankers only go to high sec for shiz and giggles and as soon as any defense is mounted they run…but because low and null just doesn’t appeal to a vast majority gankers just do what they do best which is take the path of least resistance. you cant hate them for playing the same game as you but in a different way ive lost billions to gankers and as long as i can recover my losses i have to just deal with it ---
