The irony is that given the backstory of New Eden - multiple empires arising after thousands of years separation, the existence of multiple languages, writing forms and cultures is perfectly correct. OP: If you want something colourless and bland then go and eat blancmange. Eve is too rich for you. ---

You only say that denying folk the right to own language would be a bad idea. Well yea, I dont care. The Cryllic alphabet must go. - I like the people but I dislike their language as it is elegible in open chat forums, - and thats it. No other things about it, just block cyrillic aplhabet in common chats, and thats it. ---

So how do you feel about the Japanese alphabet? Or Greek? Korean? Chinese? All of these can be used in-game (and are used in-game) ---

Tip of my toe - block all of them. Yes Im the scarecrow. But tbh only cyrillic alphabet is used commonly, and I guess thats only due to new cyrillic alphabet players… Keep it simple guys. And remeber voice chat is free for all. ---

How about you make it a suggestion in Features & Ideas or even the Little Things thread, asking for an option to hide non-english characters. This is the best you can hope to achieve. ---
