# Why is the download so slow?

为什么每次更新，才几十MB的文件，要更新几个小时或者一个晚上。更新下载为什么那么慢？？？？

I don’t know how much English you understand but the reason why it’s most likely running slow for you is your in Asia and the servers are based in London

Its the chinese firewall. bouncing around different servers will do that for you. You are not allowed to use VPNs in china anyways.

You should be far away from the server, who is in the EU, It can cause some problems
