@Captain_Krunch_Krunch yes, the buyer transfer isk to the seller’s wallet. but based on the rules set by CCP, the isk can only be transfered to the wallet of the pilot being sold, not even his alt. if done differently, CCP will not back up the transaction and/or CCP can ban both pilots for possible RMT. Sorry but 3rd party service will not fly when it comes to character bazaar… ---

Thanks, I just read up on the rules and regs. Very detailed and sounds like scammers get the swift hammer., Well it doesn’t sound so swift these days. Best of luck to you all, thought i had a great idea in mind. I think what originally brought me here was seeing what i could get for my toon. In other words, me shopping for a toon on the bazaar right now is about as safe as hiring CODE to escort my Orca fleet back from a mining op? I guess this buying decision can wait. ---

Confirmed here. I got scammed twice recently. 2 out of 3 buys were scams. Here’s how to stop scamming: When a sale is to occur, the ISK from the buyer and the character from the seller go into a sale queue created by CCP. In the sale queue a character cannot train skills, inject skill books or inject/extract SP. Am I forgetting anything? This would pretty much stop any scam I’ve read here and save CCP a ton of man hours policing this ■■■■. ---

that would help with the obvious stuff but CCP cant always know about hacked accounts at the time of transfer for instance… sometimes they dont catch that for a month or 3 down the road. ---

They could simply put the characters on sale in the game, in the market or by contract/auction with a simple mechanism that locks everything on that toon once it’s on sale. There would be a 1000 plex special fee to sell. The seller will be responsible to post the toon on eveboard if he wants to sell. ---

I guess these characters are sold and then the money is RMT’ed during the time it takes CCP to react to the ticket. ---

This is exactly what is happening. The scammer problem is why I stopped buying characters, and I was one of the most prolific purchasers of characters for a long time. It’s not worth having my isk tied up for that long while CCP responds to the tickets. ---

No response since, and now I am giving them an hour before I go back down the support ticket road for being scammed. Still waiting on one of my other accounts to be unbanned, so it’s been a fun month. ---

Please read my response on the post to this accusation before crying out to everyone else. I am a first time seller. I have the right to accept a bid another character puts in if i believe it is right, not you. Please remove this defaming post and as replied in the post which clearly didn’t agree to your agenda, please let me know if i’m doing anything wrong so i do not break any rules or do any harm. ---

he has the right to reply in whatever time frame he wants, and also incase you forgot, youre not allowed to scam on the Character bazaar, and if someone attempts it, you lodge a ticket, and you get a full refund of your isk ---

Yes i know scamming is not allowed but the majority of the High SP sales, have been scams, and its taking weeks for people to get their isk back.
