tldr, OP, you decided to anchor up new structures and be war eligible, or you did not explain to your new alpha friends that if they join a war eligible corp (“corp with structures”), they can fall in war dec you complain and whine about CCP? you are wrong, you did the mistakes. Blame yourself, not the game mechanisms “i play counterstrike, i convinced some friends to try it, and you know what? they were killed! whereas they are new players! how can it be?” read, learn, improve. HTFU. don’t blame the game/CCP/other players as said by others, corps with structures should be able to defend them. newbies joining them are like players who never played a sport and join a semiprofessionnal team. They’d rather start playing in amateur championship, yes? you think that the fact that newbies can be killed, that there is no “safe sarting zone” for newbies results in newbies quitting eve? some of them yes. Specially those who think that eve is like all other mmos. But maybe some will like it the way it is and they will keep on playing eve in 2 years, even when their blingy machariel will get destroyed? because they like the sense of danger and challenge?
