If there’s going to be a shortcut to compress the ore hold then it’s going to automated as soon as it’s put in the game. ---

It’s a hotkey, which means you can use autohotkey to trigger it regularly (or irregularly) per client on a schedule. Which is botting and against the ToS, but that’s never stopped miners before. Mind, this was already the case, AHK can do a mouse right click and left click to compress just as easily as it can hit a single key, so it’s not like it’s actively made that part worse. ---

In all the time I’ve been playing, I’ve never wanted to tempt fate by using something that automatically uses a key. I prefer to honor the other miners and continue doing things manually. And this little addition is very nice, especially since they had already removed the refining confirmation. Admittedly, mining isn’t regularly highlighted in terms of updates, but hey, at least this is finally something to be happy about. Now all that’s left is to find a pleasant way to salvage with the Noctis, because selecting wrecks by hand is really tedious. Considering what it brings in, it’s better to do it with exploration, which will bring in more. Nah. I brought my tank. It also carried my Proteus and Pacifier just so I’ll have stuff to do while I wait. When I get the Odysseus, I’ll load it all up and fly home. ---

According to the web site: > ## Omega for All! > > Until 27 November, all capsuleers can claim a special Omega offer from the New Eden Store: seven days of Omega for just 10 PLEX. Pilots with existing Omega status get a gift of 10 PLEX, which can be used to extend it by 7 days, or just to build your war chest. It’s account bound so if one character claims the 10 PLEX, it’ll show in the PLEX Vault for all characters on that account… If one character on the account spends it on the 7 days Omega, all characters on the account will have Omega status… If the offer isn’t available in the NES, I suggest trying this - ‘Clear all cache files’ in Esc menu which will prompt a relog… After logging out, ‘Verify all downloaded files’ and then ‘Remove unused files’ in the Launcher settings… Hopefully after that the offer will be available in the NES, if not then submit a bug report… ---

I find myself disagreeing with pretty much every idea you have come up with in this thread.. you’re trying to fix what isn’t broken. The critical mining feature is fine.. and we don’t need a new mini game on top of it. Just because one is mining in one spot or not moving doesn’t mean they are not doing other things in the game such as managing PI, or corporation activities, scanning new signatures, responding to chat… or even doing the built in Project Discovery. Adding a mini game will make it much more complicated to do other ingame Eve activities while Ice or Ore Mining. The fact that one can mine while doing other things is why they like it. Your idea of adding a mini game ruins that experience for many players who enjoy mining & industry for that very reason. You will penalize people multiboxing for happening to ace your mini game on multiple accounts? Do you even mine? AFK mining & miners not paying attention give great opportunities for pirates & PVP creating content for other players. Multiboxing also gives unique opportunities for other players to engage. EVE likes people multiboxing because it means they spend more. Not all multiboxers are bots. ---
