Winter Nexus **officially sucks**. It was great for about all of one day. Now most of the loot/SKINs that drop are essentially worthless. And the Sansha cruisers keep getting hung up on the main structure then warping out and staying 400-500km out - effectively stalling the anomaly (it’s not worth the time MWD’ing or MJD’ing out to ‘fix the glitch’). ---

Why do we even have drones? Honestly. Drones are worthless in PVE. Full fleet of Warrior II’s with max drone skills can barely scratch these event frigate rats, but the event frigate rats can just 2 shot drones pretty well… It takes like 30 seconds to kill one if they stay alive long enough. I remember, long ago, when maxxing skills in something like drones or gunnery would actually be palpable. You were rewarded. Now it seems like having max skills in anything is like barely having everything to Level II back in the day. CCP has nerfed the hell out of skills. ‘pLaY yOuR wAy!’… except don’t cuz CCP will just make your way unplayable and inhospitable. ---

Yah this is an extended problem. Probably going to derail the thread but ive noticed mission rats are a tad bit more aggressive towards drones now… 🤔 Probably because of these darn botters. ---

I’ve seen the NPCs reset when arriving but have not had a massive issue with anything. Spanking the combat sites I’ve almost completed the Nexus bar 💥 ---

Drones are essentially useless for these events - followed by missiles. Laser then projectile/hybrid. And it’s next to impossible to beat any Marauder. ---

PvP Marauders are particularly applicable during this event. Get a Grappler and a web on your Marauder of choice and start blasting frigates ---

You mean anti-BS guns with tracking penalizing t2 munitions and rage torpedoes (because on paper dps is all that matters) against frigates with marauders that were deemed to be too uneconomic if fitted with webs or painters or neuts and instead took cap rechargers and tractors and salvagers? 5 bombers are about 4k dps, that’s well more then most highsec ratting marauders can tank. ---

yes, marauders can shoot back at bombers and survive the gank thanks to it. I am a marauder expert. Thankfully most of them dont realize it, and I am happily pumping isk after the 90% drop event! \o/ ---

Its actually not a bad deal. Almost a month of omega, month of mct and the plex adds up to a bit more over the base price if gotten sepately. With skins on top for icing. ---
