Yeah but when you nullify the gallente and guristas ships cause of bots (sleeper + this event at least), I’m pretty sure the devs should do something about… the BOTS, or the drones. Make a system in which you need to be more active with your drones. And a drone dying while recalled to the bay is not that system at all. AFAIK most bots run in null sec in fraternity space, they won’t care and afaik they don’t care much about these anti-drone measures. ---

Probably one of the few decent replies here, thank you. I was running the EM + Thermal resists as I’ve found for previous years, but I should have used heavy missiles instead of cruise because of the damn frigates that are extremely aggressive. Not too sure why they scramble though, what’s the deal with that? You see you ■■■■■■ up, and you can’t escape. Huh?? ---

Due to the neut + web + warp scram, the fact that BS almost killed a gecko within 10 seconds (how does that work??) I still stand by my statement that this event is made to blow up your expensive ships. ---

I don’t get paid the big bucks to solve botting lol. Just telling it to you how it is. Been like this for years. Major shift was when CCP took away lv 4 missions for alphas citing botting. ---

Everything you complain about sounds like CCP did a really great job. Event sites shall not allow afk/lazy behaviour. An active Droneboat Pilot can easily target the closest NPCs and just scoop the drones instantly when coming under attack. Event sites shall create tension, risk and opportunities for player engagements. That is the fun of playing in a large shared universe. Event sites shall motivate players to work together for success and profit. They shall not be grinding sites for solo players. ---

Lol. This is a skill issue my man, fly a HAC or t3 or command ship etc. The HS sites are not hard. I will admit the drone behavior is a bit harsh ---

Every L4 ive ran in the past 6 years, drones have been targetted as a priority and ive had to micromanage my drones for a while. Not sure why this complaint is coming up now for a mechanic that has been in the game for 5+ years. ---

Laziness, entitlement about wanting cool stuff with no effort. Lack of understanding of the game (even after years of playing). Add a touch of egocentrism/narcissism for the “why are people allowed to affect my gameplay”. The usual carebear stuff. ---

to protect your drones: - use faction drones as they have the most HP. the caldari navy drones have the most shield HP that’ll replenish over time. - from my experience, elite frigs & destroyers will target light drones, cruisers will target medium drones etc. so target the small elite frigs first with your lights, then move on up. - its best to treat drones like ammo that you’ll use up, so have plenty in your drone bay to replace the ones you lose. ---

**1. Drones are targeted.** It’s always been that way at this and other events. This event has been going on for about 5 years and it’s always been like this. You want to use droneboat? Use rattlesnake. **2. Your loot can be stolen** Yes. It can happen to you in any content in this game. **3. Hard to do solo** WHAT?! easy sites could easily be done on a ship like this-- [Drake | Every One | Killmail | zKillboard](https://zkillboard.com/kill/112052358/) You have troubles with neuts? use Cap Battery for neut resistance or cap boosters. Cant kill small ships? use your own web. And. Can i have your stuff? ---

I suspected this was going to be an “on-rails” event that was marginally different if not worse than doing any other PVE activity. The good and bad news is that its temporary. ---

use rattle with caldary navy wasps. also train your Drone Durability to 4-5 ---

An Ishtar with CN Wasps can finish those sites in around 15 minutes (solo). Just approach your target directly with running AB and shoot the NPCs from close to far, you are able to almost instantly scoop any drone that gets lower than half shields. Bring multiple sets to give them regeneration time. Once half of the enemy ships are off the field, the remaining ones can’t really hurt the Wasps any more. Except Oracles, if Oracles are on the field, wait until they shoot you, then send the Drones after them, the Oracles can’t track them very well once they are close. But they will blast them in a few shots when they can keep their range. ---
