(( It’s called Flash fiction [Flash fiction - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_fiction) not everything is long and large and verbose.  
Take it as an artistic challenge instead of attacking the organizers.  
Also, you’re not forced to join, if you don’t like the limits, you _can_ choose to _not_ participate.

Also, all my fiction is within the limits of the year’s contest. For example, [[NEWCYC127] Love, Honour, and Obey](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/newcyc127-love-honour-and-obey/496703) was below 500 words so saying that nobody wrote below 500 words is wrong.
