Blue Ice fields.
Kiv Aldent Floats among the massive rocks of Blue Ice. the gentle thrum of the many lasers stripping away the fields every isk can be heard faintly thru the thick hulls and massive machinery of the Orca industrial command ship.
Bling
His Cargo was full.
Kriv adjusted his thoughts, the impulse triggering the Orca’s massive compactors to move. Squashing the ice to a fraction of its volume.
Another thought, triggering his voice synthesizer. Sending a message over Fleet comms.
“Xenoot, Must you really have your entire crew outfitted in Hulks of all things? You have me working overtime with this compressor over here at the rate you’re going we won’t have another belt after this.”
A few kilometers away, A pair of Hulks float within the range of the Orca’s nanite boosting.
“Not everyone wants to spend their days on the belts Kriv, I ain’t Brodo. Speaking of the New guys, Hows recruitment efforts going?

Nice narrative mang! I think the only edit I would make is my contemplations on running a FOB fleet.
That reminds me, if you are interested in running FOBs, we got “FOBbit and a Movie” nights getting lined up. A couple of us older players run the site, everyone else comes out in frigs and we watch a movie whilst (yes that is a word!) blapping the structure. The more the merrier.
