jEveAssets 8.0.2 (2025-05-04)

It doesn’t clear the items, it clears the highlighting.

Hi, big thank you to the dev for making this gem ! Sorry if it has been asked before. I sold a toon and deleted it from JEA after I received an API error (normal) my total isk value rised accordingly but my total skill point stayed the same: Screenshot by Lightshot
Is that a bug or maybe I didn’t do the right thing ?

Thank you

jEveAssets doesn’t delete tracker data if you delete the account. New tracker point should reflect the account is no longer there, but, not old entries. Deleting the character from the tracker is currently complicated. You either need to edit the tracker.json to remove the character or delete the character from each point in the tracker. Feel free to make a feature suggestion on GitHub for an easier way to delete character, if you like.

Thank you, setting the last entry line for this char didn’t change anything: {“date”:1688927098462,“assets”:0.0,“escrows”:0.0,“escrowstocover”:0.0,“sellorders”:0.0,“walletbalance”:0.0,“manufacturing”:0.0,“contractcollateral”:0.0,“contractvalue”:0.0,“skillpoints”:0,"balance

maybe I have to edit something else ?

Hi, some finished corporation contracts after data update still have outstanding status.

Hi, Ive been using jeveassets regularly lately, pretty much every day. Today none of the orders under my transactions were shouwing, when i looked at accounts, all of my accounts say this… i am using the app regularly, why would it need me to reauth them all?

@Jean_Pierre_Coffe
I’m not sure tbh. Does new entries still have the skill points for the deleted character?

@Vartan_Sarkisian
This only happens if jEveAssets fails to get a access token from the refresh token.
If you changed your password or revoked the app, it will invalidate all auth.
Or maybe the auth failed for another reason, like a firewall blocking it, etc.
There isn’t any way for jEveAssets to recover if it’s not able to get an access token, so it invalidates the account.

ok, must be firewall then as ive not change password or revoked the account

I though a bit more about it and I’m going to add a retry button on the account manager for the next feature release, in case an account is invalidated due to a fluke. It won’t help you now ofc. but, at least it should make it a bit better in the future. I know it’s a major pain to re-auth everything.

Thanks that woudl be appreciated, i have about 9 accounts and a corp in there so yeah it can be a pain

Me again with another question.

this morning ive updated jeveassets and looked at my market orders, and ive a query regards some of the columns. For example, in Amarr i have a Republic Fleet Stasis Webifier. jeveassets shows me this info.

and the ingame market screen shows me this information

apart from the information under price which shows me my sell price. none of th eother information correlates

1: outbid$ (tooltip says best outbid price in range order) what does this info relate to?

2: outbid ^ - (tooltip says) outbid prices compared to order price. - i would that though that this would show me the difference between my price and the now best price on market, but the different from the market screen is 19.6m not the 2.3m shown

3: market sell minimum: the sell minimum is 150m (market screen) not 135.6m (jeveasset screen), i checked history and none have been sold in 24 hours so it isnt that it has just sold,

4: market buy minimum, 100m (market screen) comparted to 116.9m (jeve assets) again, thiese figures dont match

here is a shot of the price history, you can see that not many sell and none at the prices of Maket sell or buy

image

is this information just wrong, or am i interpreting this data incorrectly?

this is the market price options in the app, perhaps it is something here?

Please make an issue on GitHub, this is not the right place for bug reports.

will do, didnt realise it may be a bug, thought it was a setting maybe

Hi, I am using the reprocessed tab, can i clarify that the red box indicates it shouldnt be re-processed and the green means it should.

Also is there a way to filter the screen so that only the red or green options appear?

jEveAssets 7.8.1 released

Bug Fixes:
-Removed outbid auto-update due to impact on esi
-Added advanced contracting to the slots tool (Reported by MagnarM)

Statement regarding removing features:
jEveAssets outbid auto update had a negative impact on ESI (and thereby Eve) - that is not acceptable! ESI is a shared resource and that means everyone who use it have to use it responsible. In this case the means I had to remove the functionality from jEveAssets, which isn’t something I like doing, but, it had to be done to be a good esi citizen, which is absolutely required.

So the app used to be able to updated proces in game from within the app?

Ive looked online at the manual but most doesnt seem to be filled in, there are probably hundreds of use case scenarios that woudl be good to use but we simply dont know they are there

I am using the reprocessed tab

I looked at the code, it looks like it’s currently bugged. So ATM. you can’t use the green/red squares for anything and it’s not possible to make a working filter. (I will try to get that fix for the next release)

So the app used to be able to updated proces in game from within the app?

No, this is referring to the feature that would continually update public market orders to check if you where outbid or not. This can still be done, but, now have to be started manually each time by the user.

Everyone is free to contribute to the documentation, that is why it’s on a wiki. Personally, I have neither the skills or motivation to do it. I have tried many times, but, It never works out. I’m trying to add tool tips to as many things as possible, to make jEveAssets a little easier to use. I know It’s a pain point, but, it’s not something I’m able to resolve, sadly…
